Permanent Secretary for Public Service, Taina Tagicakibau has revealed that they have made further progress after having talks with the Fiji Nursing Association late yesterday.
Tagicakibau said the nurses now understand the interim government's stand on the restoration of the 5% pay.
Tagicakibau also revealed that the nurses have also started to think about the administration's stance in that they return to work.
Fiji Nursing Association General Secretary, Kuini Lutua has refused to comment on the meeting with the PSC, saying they are still considering the interim government's proposals.
