The Public Service Commission has refused to reveal any details on why Permanent Secretary for Works Anand Kumar is suspended.
PSC permanent secretary Parmesh Chand said this is an issue between an employer and employee and refused to make further comments.
Anand Kumar also could not be reached for comments this morning.
When asked about the suspension of Permanent Secretary for Social Welfare Dr Ami Chand and Permanent Secretary for Local Government Ram Chandar, Parmesh Chand declined to comment.
It is unclear why these permanent secretaries have been suspended pending investigations.
