The Public Service Commission revealed they do not have technical and professional people in special areas in the government and they tend to lose out a lot.

This was highlighted after an audit exercise by the commission which involved three phases.

The first being a physical audit of all resources, the second being a skills audit and the third involved a review of systems and services provided by the agency.

PSC chairman Josefa Seruilagilagi said the commission found out that some people who are experts in special areas have gone into administrative positions.
