The Fiji Public Service Association has raised serious concerns on the decision by the PSC to grant a 3% per increase to civil servants earning more than $20,000 a year.
At the Suva Branch AGM last night where 1,000 plus members were in present, General Secretary Rajeshwar Singh stressed that this is an injustice to the low income earners in the civil service.
Singh also urged members to start saving, suggesting that the devaluation of the Fiji dollar is possible with the current economic climate.
