The Public Service Commission is calling on the Fiji Public Service Association to justify why they want 10% COLA for 2008.
Commission Chairman, Rishi Ram said they want discussions with FPSA before making any decision.
He reiterated that PSC is not in favour of paying COLA and they are planning to implement the Performance Management System for all civil servants.
Meanwhile, FPSA General Secretary, Rajeshwar Singh had told Fijivillage News that he will fight for 10% COLA for this year as the 4% COLA Claim for last year was not addressed by PSC.
