The Public Service Commission has made a decision in relation to 5 year old boy Shavneet Kumar's case.

Commission Chairman Rishi Ram said they met last week, made a decision and are now communicating with the related doctors on the matter.

However, Ram declined to make the decision public yet.

Meanwhile, he said the report of a baby's death in Labasa after being injected had reached the Commission.

Ram said it is a case of disciplinary action and the Health Ministry is to initiate it after which further steps can be taken.

He refused to divulge more information.

The baby who was being breastfed by his mother was injected by a nurse and died soon after.
