Tailevu Provincial Council chairman Ratu Josefa Serulagilagi has been appointed the Chairman of the Public Service Commission under the State Services Decree.
The other newly appointed Commissioners include, Mohammad Yunus, Udai Prasad and Clair Aull.
The tenure of their appointment including Serulagilagi's is for two years effective from April 22nd, 2009.
Minister responsible for Public Service Commodore Frank Bainimarama said the Commission has an important role to play in reforming of the civil service, which is one of the top priorities of the government.
He said he has full confidence in the team under the Chairmanship of Serulagilagi to achieve the impact and results expected of them.
