The Public Service Commission Chairman Josefa Serulagilagi and Permanent Secretary Parmesh Chand paid a visit to the Sydney Adventist Hospital heart team who have conducted successful heart operations in the last two weeks at CWM Hospital.
PSC Permanent Secretary, Parmesh Chand said they are amazed with the humanitarian assistance provided by the team adding that another purpose of their visit was to see the resources that could be made available to the Health Ministry in the future.
Chand also said requests have also been made to consider keeping the same team who assisted during the two week surgery.
The heart team from the Sydney Adventist Hospital has conducted 50 surgeries during these two weeks.
