The Public Service Commission (PSC) is still waiting for the Permanent Arbitrator to make a decision on whether pay restoration for civil servants will include back-pay.
PSC chairman Rishi Ram said until arbitration rules otherwise, civil servants receiving another 2% pay restoration next month will not be back-paid.
Trade unions still claim their pay restoration should be backdated and they took the matter to the Labour Ministry's Dispute Committee who then referred the matter to arbitrator after both parties failed to reach a resolution.
Last week, the Permanent Arbitrator's office revealed that a decision is still yet to be made.
