Digicel Fiji Sevens team coach Iliesa Tanivula has admitted that the Pacific Rugby Cup in some way has affected the selection of players for the Sevens team.
As the Fiji Sevens team prepares for the last IRB tournament in Scotland, Tanivula said the young players have jelled in together after the London Sevens and have gained great confidence.
Tanivula added nothing much can be done now as his main aim is to improve the performance of the young lads in the team.
The Scotland Sevens tournament starts tonight at 8.35 with Samoa playing Kenya in the first game.
Fiji plays Scotland at 11.09pm in its first pool match.
Fiji meets Wales at 2.35am, and plays USA at 5.17 tomorrow morning in its last pool game.
