The Public Rental Board will use the vacant land in Raiwaqa to construct apartments to rent out to workers in the industrial zone along Grantham Road to Nabua.
General Manager, Mesake Senibulu, said that the Board is keen on housing the workers who travel from far and find difficulty in transportation everyday.
Senibulu indicated earlier there were never plans to continue with housing developments in Raiwaqa after the four storey buildings were demolished.
The China Railway Company will carry out the construction work with the loan from the Exim Bank in China.
