The Papua New Guinea 7s team is yet to confirm whether they will take part in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s next weekend.
Marist Rugby Club President Bill Mar said they have spoken to Coach Waisale Serevi who will get back to them on Thursday to confirm whether they will be travelling to Fiji.
Mar added they already closed the registration last Friday and response from top clubs has been good.
The Fiji 7s Barbarians team is the defending champions and there is still no confirmation on whether they will play again next week.
The Marist 7s will be held at the TFL Stadium from the 5th and 6th of next week.
