The Prime Minister's Office will facilitate the request of the Chinese government for no duty to be levied on all materials and machines from China to be used in the construction of the new Navuso bridge.
Permanent Secretary at the PM's Office, Pramesh Chand said his office has received the request from the Chinese Embassy and they are currently discussing it with relevant authorities since the Finance Minister has the power to deal with such requests.
