Ousted Opposition Leader, Mick Beddoes believes that the commitment made by the Interim Prime Minister that the next elections will be held in early 2009, is genuine.
Beddoes said Commodore Bainimarama has not been pressured in any way to meet these commitments and there is no reason why the Interim Government should change its stance.
Meanwhile, Beddoes has urged Ousted Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase and Commodore Bainimarama to start engaging in talks as this will help in improving the country.
