We feel for those that suffered twice after Tropical Cyclone Winston and the recent floods but the sun is out giving us an opportunity to get back on our feet and clean up our homes.

Those are the words of Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama as he gets ready to visit people in evacuation centres in the Western Division.

Bainimarama has told Fijivillage that he is taking emergency packs for people in the Western Division.

The Prime Minister was handed 1,000 food packs by the Laxmi Narayan Temple committee in Suva this morning.

Bainimarama said the temple members have been doing something every day for the affected areas.

He said that the members were also arranging packs with school bags, books, water bottles, belts and other items for the people affected by Cyclone Winston in Levuka.
