The Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama will open the Macuata Provincial Council meeting at the chiefly village of Naduri this morning.
The Vanua of Caumatalevu will this morning accord the Prime Minister a full traditional welcome and also reaffirm their support for the Government.
Roko Tui Macuata Sitiveni Lalibuli said after the welcome ceremony and the sevusevu, the Prime Minister is expected to give his speech with an open discussion to follow.
This will dwell on issues affecting the people of Caumatalevu such as access to road, clean water, health and education.
More than 100 people are expected to attend the meeting including the chiefs and representatives of the 9 tikinas in the Province.
