Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama is expected to officially open the Kadavu Provincial Council meeting this morning.
Chairman Ratu Varani Rayawa said that the Prime Minister will be the chief guest and they are looking forward to when Commodore Bainimarama will address members of the council, however he has not revealed whether or not they will be able to have discussions such as the ones held at other provincial council meetings.
Ratu Varani added that also expected is a presentation from Commissioner Eastern Colonel Ifereimi Vasu on the development work within the province.
The two day Kadavu Provincial Council meeting starts this morning at 9am.
Meanwhile on Friday the Kadavu Development Company is expected to hold their Annual General Meeting where discussions are likely to be around the ownership of Kadavu House.
