The Prime Minister is expected to sight a report on the number of civil servants that did not come to work last week following an email that was sent around.

PSC had earlier issued a directive to all Government ministries and departments to produce the number of workers that did not come to work on the 23rd of last month.

PSC revealed that some departments are yet to submit a report as the absent civil servants were informed to produce evidence showing that their absence was genuine.

After the Prime Minister sights the report, a decision on whether disciplinary action will be taken against the civil servants, will be determined.
