Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has revealed that he will be launching the revised laws of Fiji next month, which have not been consolidated for more than 30 years.

He will do this during the Attorney General’s Conference in Natadola next month.

Speaking at the launch of Fiji National University’s 2017 enrolment drive at Albert Park this morning, Bainimarama says this will be done in the presence of the President, the Chief Justice and the Speaker of Parliament.

Meanwhile, while addressing the students, Bainimarama says he always says that Fiji’s education revolution is his proudest achievement as Prime Minister.

Bainimarama says he knows that with this great leap forward they were able to do so much to provide opportunity for the young people of Fiji.

He says they introduced free schooling at primary and secondary level and opened up avenues of opportunities for even the most disadvantaged young people.

Meanwhile, Bainimarama says he will be heading back to Europe on Monday to meet the representatives of the British government and attend the World Sugar Conference.

He will then travel to Brussels to meet with officials of the European Union.
