The Prime Minister and Minister for National Planning, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has thanked the executives of the EXIM bank of Malaysia for assisting Fiji through their $40 million US loan for road upgrading works.

At the launching of the road rehabilitation works in Lomolomo in lautoka this morning, Bainimarama highlighted that since taking office, the road infrastructure around the country was not good, stressing that the three natural disasters over the past 15 months have not helped.

Commodore Bainimarama also stressed that the funding would see the betterment of the lives of people living along the Kings and Queens Highway and the economy as well.
