Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said Fiji will bounce back, just like the sun will shine tomorrow.

Commodore Bainimarama made the comments yesterday while meeting with members of the Ba Chamber of Commerce, assuring them of Government assistance.

The Prime Minister told the business people that their concern is his concern now.

He discussed how just like January this year, the government is again exploring ways to help small businesses and market vendors affected by the flooding.

The Ba Chamber of Commerce thanked the Prime Minister for personally looking after assistance and relief in the Western Division.

Businessman Daniel Elisha said they may be down but they are not out, and they will also see how they can help those affected in Ba with food and water.

Members of the Ba Chamber of Commerce also asked for ways they can work with Government to help prepare for future disasters, including training for rescue operations or organizing neighborhood watch programs.
