Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama is expected to meet with the President of the Methodist Church Reverend Ame Tugawe next week.

Speaking to Fijivillage from Vanuatu, Commodore Bainimarama confirmed that Reverend Tugawe requested for the meeting and he has confirmed that they can have a meeting after he returns from the Melanesian Spearhead Group meeting.

It was earlier revealed that the Methodist Church will approach Prime Minister Bainimarama again if he can give the green light for the annual Methodist Conference to go ahead, but with a different format.

The proposed format of the conference is that all circuit members meet in their respective areas as it will lessen the financial burden for those coming to Viti Levu.
