Prime Minister Commodore Vorege Bainimarama is expected to lead a delegation to Hong Kong this morning.
Speaking to Fijivillage News from Hong Kong, Director Civil Aviation, Akuila Waradi said the delegation will leave in the second direct flight to Hong Kong boarding the Air Pacific's 767 aircraft.
Waradi said this air services agreement was negotiated in April this year and Air Pacific's first direct flight to Hong Kong was on Thursday.
He adds this will benefit our tourism industry as well as the business sector.
The flight is scheduled to leave for Hong Kong at 8.30.
