The Prime Minister is expected to finally meet with the paramount Chief of Cakaudrove, the Tui Cakau Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu soon.
Following the announcement by Ratu Naiqama that he wants to meet with Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama and the call by him for Cakaudrove to support the government's initiatives, plans are now underway to seek the meeting with the Prime Minister.
Commodore Bainimarama said it's good to hear that Ratu Naiqama now understands what the government is trying to do.
Meanwhile the Roko Tui Cakaudrove, Ro Aca Mataitini said the request for the meeting between the Prime Minister and the Tui Cakau will be made within the next few days.
