Bainimarama says with rugby being our national sport, many Fijians anticipated the finals and watched the game with great enthusiasm and passion.
He says Fiji has a significant following of the All Blacks.
In his message, Prime Minister Bainimarama highlighted the importance of sports, especially rugby, in the region.
He says the All Blacks victory at the finals reaffirms the dominance of New Zealand in international rugby.
Bainimarama says New Zealand should be proud of the numerous sacrifices of its people at various levels for this outstanding victory.
He says such a victory will no doubt continue to be a source of inspiration and motivation for many young rugby players in New Zealand and around the world.
