Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has made it clear Fiji will still have elections in 2014.

He has stated these following comments that during his recent tour of Fiji's rural areas, villagers said they want the 2014 elections delayed as they are happy with the progress the country is making.

Commodore Bainimarama questions where the information has come from to people that the government has delayed the elections.

He said as far as he is concerned the elections will be held in 2014 and he said some people may be imagining things.
