The Interim Prime Minister hosted morning tea this morning to thank business houses which have made contributions to the PM's National Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation Trust Fund.

Commodore Frank Bainimarama said the private sector and the citizens of our country need to work together to provide much needed relief to the many victims of this natural disaster.

He added after touring the western division for the last two days, he noted the immediate requirements are to ensure safety of people, provide shelter and food and restore utility supplies and re-open the roads for accessibility.

Meanwhile, Sun Insurance Company chairman Padam Lala is calling on other cooperate bodies to come forward and help those affected by the floods.
