The decision if any to relocate the Pacific Island News Association office based in Suva will be made at their Biennial Convention next month.

This has been confirmed by PINA's Matai Akoula, who said a decision will be reached on the matter during their Annual General Meeting.

This is after it was highlighted that there were plans to relocate its Pacnews newswire service outside Fiji, following the implementation of the emergency regulation.

Pacnews is owned by PINA, which represents media organizations around the region.

The PINA 2009 Biennial Convention will be held from the 27th to the 29th of July in Port Villa.
