Consumers can breathe a sigh a relief as the Prices and Incomes Board confirmed the price of motor spirits and other fuels will decrease by 5 cents across the board effective from tomorrow.

Motor spirits which costs $2.15, will cost $2.10 cents from tomorrow while diesel will cost $1.83 cents per litre.

The price of Kerosene and premix outboard fuel will also decrease once retailers replenish their stocks.

One liter Kerosene will cost $1.49 cents after the decrease while the premix outboard fuel will cost $2.02 per liter.

The PIB said as a result of further reduction in the international refined product prices and the weakening of the US dollar against local currency, the prices of motor spirit, premix outboard, diesel and kerosene will decrease from tomorrow.

Consumers and traders are advised that the prices will differ in areas due to additional cartage and delivery charges.
