The Public Emergency Regulation (PER) will be extended for another 30 days.
This has been confirmed by Information Permanent Secretary and Military spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Neumi Leweni who said this was decided after a series of meetings.
The Emergency Regulations was announced by the President three weeks ago and was due to expire on May 10th.
It will now expire on June 10th.
