The Interim Attorney General has called on the international community not to condemn the interim government for re-invocating the Public Emergency Regulation.
Speaking to Village News, Aiyaz Saiyad Khaiyum has stressed that the PER is a precautionary measure and the international community should assist in bringing democratic rule in the country.
He has condemned some international media reports that Martial Law has been imposed in the country.
