This has been confirmed by Information Permanent Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Neumi Leweni.
Fijivillage has also received confirmation today that all speeches to be delivered at the Pacific Youth Festival to be hosted in Fiji next month will be vetted by the Ministry of Information.
Lieutenant Colonel Leweni said they just want the youths to be mindful of the situation that we are in and not to breach the PER.
Fiji Alumni member for the Pacific Youth Festival Rosie Catherine confirmed they have been told to hand in their reports and speeches to the ministry for vetting, however, she added that they are all working together to ensure a successful Pacific Youth Festival.
Fiji has a contingent of 150 for the Pacific Youth Festival which starts with the opening ceremony on the 11th of July.
