The Public Emergency Regulation has been extended for a further 30 days.
Acting President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau in a government gazette extended the PER for a further period of 30 days with effect from the 5th of October.
The PER was first implemented on the 10th of April this year and has been extended ever since.
