The Military Council has decided that the Public Emergency Regulation will be lifted from midnight tomorrow.
Military spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga confirms that the decision has been endorsed by Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama this morning.
Tikoitoga adds that they will continue to keep a close watch on the security situation and advise the Military Council accordingly.
