The Party of National Unity from the West has received an invitation letter from the Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama to be part of a meeting next Monday.

PANU General Secretary Meli Bogileka said he is happy to be invited as they have always maintained their stand to move the country forward.

Bogileka said the invitation letter was addressed to their leader, Ponipate Lesavua and they will represent the party to the meeting.

The PANU management will meet this week to put together their submissions for the meeting.

Meanwhile, the Conservative Alliance General Secretary, Ropate Sivo said they will also participate in the meeting next week.

Meanwhile, the Citizen's Constitutional Forum has welcomed the move by political parties and Bainimarama to enter into dialogue for a way forward for Fiji.

Executive Director, Rev Akuila Yabaki said the meeting, hopefully the first of many, should be welcomed as this will be beneficial to the whole country.

Other NGOs are expected to comment on the meeting later.
