Overseas referees have been brought in by Golden Boxing Promotion to control the Universal Boxing Organization super middleweight title fight between Joy Ali and Joseph Kwadjo on Saturday.

UBO Oceania Representative Reginald Leca is the referee for the main bout between Ali and Kwadjo, while two other overseas judges Laurie Glozier and Steve Miles will assist him.

The only local judge is Jeremaia Ledua who has been in boxing for the past 10 years.

Promoter Sakaraia Ve Jnr said they have brought in this overseas referee and judges because this title fight is a step close to a world title shot.
