A number of overseas coaches have shown interest to coach the National soccer team for next year’s Pacific games.

Fiji Football Association’s National Technical Director, Sayed Ali said he has received a number of calls for the position but proper procedures will be followed before anyone is appointed at the top position.

According to Ali, coaches from Germany and Brazil have shown interest to coach Fiji.

Former Labasa soccer coach and National rep, Anand Sami has also shown interest but will have to apply for the position.

According to Ali the position will be advertised next week and the best candidate will be appointed sometime next month.

Ba's Primary school teacher, Yogendra Dutt who was the National soccer coach removed himself from the position.
