No overseas based clubs will be coming in for next week's Fiji Bitter Marist 7’s at the Post Fiji Stadium.

Organiser Vili Rauca said Auckland Marist has pulled out as most of their players are tied up with off season training programs for the NPC.

He added that this will not affect their plans as they are still working out whether they will increase the teams from 80 to 96 after a lot of clubs registered to be part of the two day tournament.

Top teams that have confirmed their participation include defending champion Nawaka who will have the services of national 7's captain Semisi Naevo and Norman Ligairi, Ravuka of Nadroga which will have the likes of Emosi Vucago and Etonia Naba, Waisale Serevi's City Eagles and the Army team.

The Marist 7’s will take place next Friday and Saturday with the winner walking away with the $10,000 dollars prize-money.
