It has now been confirmed that all overseas based players who are willing to represent Fiji in the Rugby World Cup 7s will only be considered after the Japan 7s tournament.

Fiji Rugby Union High Performance General Manager Mike Ryan said the inclusion of overseas based players will depend on the review of the team's performance in the upcoming leg.

Ryan added that the selection of the team for the World Cup in Moscow will depend on the requirements and the needs of the current 21 member squad.

Meanwhile, the Hong Kong 7s will be played from the 22nd to the 24th of this month and Fiji is pooled with Hong Kong, Spain and Canada.
