Overseas based Fijian players Samisoni Viriviri, Josua Tuisova, Waisea Nayacalevu, Leone Nakarawa and Semi Kunatani may be selected to play for the Vodafone Fiji 7s team in the Paris and London 7s tournaments.
Fiji coach Ben Ryan said he will soon get confirmation on their availability and then decide on who he needs to test out before the Rio Olympics.
Ryan stressed that he will not make wholesale changes as the local based players have been doing well.
He also said that Fiji lost fair and square to Kenya in the Singapore 7s final.
Ryan said all credit goes to Kenya and Fiji needs to regroup before the Paris tournament.
Fiji has been pooled with Samoa, Scotland and Wales in the Paris 7s.
Kenya, New Zealand, Portugal and Russia are in pool A.
South Africa, Australia, England and the invited team Brazil will compete in Pool C.
Pool D includes Argentina, France, USA and Canada.
The Paris 7s will be held from the 13th to the 15th of next month.
