The inclusion of top overseas based players in the Flying Fijian 15s rugby team for the Pacific Nation Cup is expected to boost the level of competition this season.
Speaking to Fijivillage, IRB Pacific General Manager William Wright said this year’s competition will be very close since most Europe based players have been included in their respective teams.
Wright believes rugby fans will be treated to a feast of rugby when the competition starts next week.
Meanwhile, members of the national 15s rugby team will march into camp at the Peninsula Hotel in Suva this afternoon to prepare for next week’s game.
Fiji will take on Samoa in the opening game of the Pacific Nation Cup next week at Churchill Park.
