More than 70 percent of the students living three kilometers outside Nausori town are facing difficulty in commuting to schools.
A concerned parent, Shalen Chand said those students living in Verata, Nausori have to look for their own mode of transportation to schools as there are no bus services available in their area.
Chand said they have spoken to some bus companies but they do not want to provide services in that area mainly due to the road conditions and illegal operations.
He has urged authorities to assist them.
