More than 500 students have been assisted by Save the Children Fiji's initiative to assist students for the new school year which starts proper next Tuesday.
Chief Executive Officer Chandra Shekhar said requests are still pouring in for assistance and so far 594 students have been assisted with education stationery adding most of the requests have come from the Central Division.
About 100 packs of education stationery were distributed yesterday and these packs include writing utensils, ruler, dictionaries and other education materials.
