The Fiji National Provident Fund has received over 45,000 applications from people seeking assistance after the floods.
Chief Executive Aisake Taito said the closing dates for applications were last Thursday and they are working closely with DISMAC to determine if the applications are genuine.
Taito said they will not be able to help everyone as it will be a first come first serve basis.
Taito added so far the Fund has paid out more than $10million dollars to those who have applied for assistance.
