More than 4,200 members of the Fijian Teachers Association are now getting ready to go on strike from Thursday morning if cabinet does not give into the FTA's demands tomorrow.
FTA President, Tevita Koroi said they have given the interim government enough time and they are waiting for the cabinet meeting to reach the final decision on the strike this week.
Koroi has made it clear that the FTA wants the 5 percent pay cut to be restored by August, retirement age to remain at 60 years and the Partnership Agreement regarding COLA increments to remain in place.
