More than 4000 students and teachers from 15 different schools in the Western division are currently taking part in a Sci-Tech Expo organised by the University of the South Pacific held at Tilak High School in Lautoka.
The Dean of Faculty of Science, Technology and Environment, Doctor Anjeela Jokhan said the aim of the one day Expo is to create a vibrant space for young people to have fun with science quizzes and competitions as well as learning more about the current courses and programs at USP.
She said USP's Lautoka Campus is also giving information to the students and teachers about courses available in the western division.
The Sci-Tech Expo which has a theme of "Science and Technology for the New Decade" finishes this afternoon.
