Over 3,000 Primary School students will take part in this years Milo Kaji rugby tournament which will be the biggest so far.

This is also the first time the tournament will be held over four days and will feature 28 districts from around the country including new comers Namuka-i-Lau.

Fiji Primary School Rugby Association President Joji Seruiratu said a total of 239 pool games will be played in the first three days.

Seruiratu added that one of the reasons they decided to have a four days meet is to ensure that all teams have more game times, meaning if they lose in the pool games they can still compete in the bowl and plate competitions.

Meanwhile, Nestle Fiji is the major sponsor for the tournament for the eighth year in a row after signing the contract with the Fiji Rugby Union today.

Nestle Fiji Country Manager Jean-Michel Lejeune said this is a worthwhile event for all Fijians, not just for the players but their families and communities as well.

The Milo Kaji tournament will take place at the ANZ Stadium and Suva Grammar School grounds from next Tuesday to Friday.
