More than 300 to 500 nurses are leaving our shores for greener pastures over the past few years and it should be a wakeup call for the government to improve nurses salaries.
President of the Fiji Nurses Association, Sala Matiyavi said better pay and work conditions overseas is the main reason our nurses are leaving.
Matiyavi said another 10 nurses are expected to leave Fiji before the end of this year.
