Officers from the Drug Unit uprooted more than 2,600 Marijuana plants which has a street value of more than $26 million from three farms in Navosa.
Officer-In-Charge Drugs, Inspector Rajeshni Mala said the raid was carried out in a week and the officers had to walk continuously for 27 hours to reach the farms.
According to Inspector Mala, they also confiscated more than $1,400 in cash which was hidden in the mountains.
Earlier this month police recovered $24,315 which was hidden in the mountains in Navosa.
Police also believe that drug paddlers are hiding substantial amounts of cash up in the highlands.
