More than 2000 students will benefit from the Prime Minister's Rehabilitation Fund in the Northern, Western and Central Division.
The Interim Education Minister, Filipe Bole said 2,462 students in 14 primary and secondary schools will receive assistance after the Prime Minister's office gave $250,000 to the Education Ministry.
Bole said the school managements of the affected schools will have to submit their reports to the Ministry and are required to sign a Memorandum of Understanding before the money will be deposited in their accounts.
The Ministry has spent close to $2million to assist 75 schools in the flood rehabilitation program to date.
